Annex A — Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. No illegal use

You must not use the Service for unlawful purposes, including fraud, harassment, unlawful surveillance, or distribution of illegal content.

2. No prohibited AI uses

You must not use the Service in connection with any prohibited AI practice under Applicable Regulation, including manipulative, exploitative, or otherwise prohibited AI uses, including but not limited to the following, where such use:

• violates the AI Provider terms;
• is manipulative and deceptive causing material harm;
• constitutes prohibited or restricted practices under Applicable Law (including AI governance rules), including manipulation, exploitation, or unlawful profiling, or other high-risk uses without required safeguards and approval;
• in connection with prohibited military, weapons, sanctions-restricted, or surveillance uses in breach of applicable law; or
• is high risk AI use without implementing the legally required safeguards, risk management, human oversight, and documentation.

3. No infringement

You must not submit content that infringes IP, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or trade secrets.

4. No sensitive data unless authorised

Do not submit special category personal data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR or other highly sensitive data unless you have a valid legal basis, have provided required notices, and implemented appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. You remain solely responsible for determining such legal basis and compliance.

5. Security restrictions

No reverse engineering, scraping, automated extraction, bypassing controls, key sharing, credential stuffing, or interference with infrastructure.

6. Enforcement

Infere may take proportionate enforcement action, including suspension, restriction, or termination of access, and may report unlawful activity to competent authorities where required by law.
